Chavo has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Laputa's face.
Laputa tries to hold on but Chavo postures up.
Chavo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Laputa looks a forlorn figure.
The referee warns Laputa that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Chavo breaks from Laputa's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Laputa tries to lock up and control but Chavo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A big strike lands for Chavo! That's really hurt Laputa and he's turned his back - Chavo keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Chavo jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

During a confident post fight interview, El Chavo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
