Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Hall!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hall steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Grayson. That one must have hurt.
Grayson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Grayson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
An attempted straight right counter from Grayson misses the target.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grayson.
Hall fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Grayson tries to avoid it but Hall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Grayson to the ground. Grayson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hall tries to close the distance and clinch up but Grayson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A looping hook to the body misses from Grayson. Hall does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Grayson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hall somewhat.

Hall has taken the fight to the clinch.

Hall shoots in looking for a takedown. Grayson tries to sprawl out of it but Hall keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grayson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hall throws a nice looking combination but Grayson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Grayson wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Grayson stuffs the takedown attempt from Hall. Hall gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hall stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Grayson.

Grayson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hall shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Grayson but Grayson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Grayson takes the fight into the clinch.
Hall gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Grayson.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Hall gets control of Grayson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hall will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Hall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Grayson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Grayson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hall's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

I would just about give that final round to Chris Hall.
