Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Test Icles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Patrick moves into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Patrick's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Patrick is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Icles is defending well.
Icles is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Patrick gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Patrick jumps guard and drags Icles to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Patrick is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Icles seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Patrick for as long as he can get away with.
Patrick is trying to control Icles's posture but Icles avoids it.

Icles is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Patrick is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Icles is stalling here. Patrick is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Icles seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Patrick has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Icles has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Icles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Patrick swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Patrick is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Patrick stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Icles to get to his feet.

Patrick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
