The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danska moves into the clinch successfully.
Estevez misses with a punch on the inside.
Estevez struggles to land a body shot inside as Danska controls his hands.
Estevez takes an elbow to the temple. Danska lands an elbow that stopped Estevez in his tracks for a moment. A head punch blocked on the inside by Danska. Estevez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Danska prevents it.
Danska is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Estevez is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Estevez is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Danska is defending well for now.

Danska shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Estevez's guard. Danska has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Danska wanted to stand there but Estevez had control of the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Estevez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Danska tries to avoid it but Estevez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Danska to the ground. Danska escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Estevez tries to clinch up. Danska looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Estevez lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Estevez shoots in for a takedown but Danska shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Danny Danska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Estevez. Danska gets in close and instigates a clinch. Danska pushes off an throws an elbow but Estevez leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Estevez wants a takedown.

Danska lands a damaging elbow. Estevez wants to take the fight to the mat but Danska manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Estevez decides to pull guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Estevez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Danska doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Estevez is tightening it up a little... Danska has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Danska reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Danska taps out! Nice BJJ there by Estevez!
