Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Asahi Nozara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Guardia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nozara comes to the ring accompanied by Shing02 - Japonica. Asahi Nozara has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Asahi Nozara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Guardia!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guardia drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Guardia shoots in but Nozara avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Guardia fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nozara to the ground. Guardia is now in Nozara's guard.
Nozara looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Guardia trying to control the position from guard on top but Nozara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Guardia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nozara swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Nozara looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Nozara looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Guardia thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Nozara throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Guardia works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Guardia is looking for a kimura but Nozara is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Guardia to get the leverage.
Nozara looks like he's trying to stand up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Guardia moves into full mount! Nozara won't be happy about that!
Nozara is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Guardia can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nozara is looking to escape.
Nozara tries to hold on but Guardia postures up.
Nozara is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Guardia blocks Nozara's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Nozara tries to hold on but Guardia pushes him away.
Nozara is looking to improve his position but Guardia isn't that keen on the idea.
Nozara tries to lock up and control but Guardia gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Nozara is mounted and he's throwing punches. Is that wise?
Guardia looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Guardia looks winded!
Nozara tries to hold on but Guardia pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Guardia is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Nozara has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Nozara!
Nozara cracks Guardia with a solid left hand.
Guardia has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Nozara is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Guardia.
Guardia is not content to let Nozara control the position.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Guardia looks up at the clock. Bad move! Nozara lands a right hand from hell, dropping Guardia. Nozara pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Asahi Nozara!
Asahi Nozara decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
