Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stanley Wise! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Jones! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones clinches with his opponent.
Wise manages to break the clinch.
Jones scores with a takedown into Wise's guard. Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Wise gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Wise loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones has a closed guard, preventing Wise from standing up. Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Wise throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wise has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jones looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jones wants to sweep here but Wise controlling him for the moment. Wise wants to stand but Jones is controlling his posture from full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Wise throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jones showed some decent athleticism there. Jones passes to full mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wise tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Wise moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Wise is retaining full guard. Jones wants to control from the top but Wise keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Wise moves out of range easily. Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wise quickly recovers to half guard. Jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Wise is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones rushes Wise and presses him up against the cage. Jones gets control of Wise's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jones will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wise is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him. Jones is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wise's guard. Jones is looking to stand up but Wise won't let him. Jones wants to control from the top but Wise keeps moving. Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jones wants to control from the top but Wise keeps moving. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones stands up from Wise's guard - Jones perhaps looking for a knockout.

John Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wise works his way back into a safe position though. Wise is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wise content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wise decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Jones controlling the position. Jones tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Wise struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wise is not content to let Jones control the position. Jones goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wise has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jones but great work by Wise.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wise looks up at the clock and then as Jones takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wise smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Jones tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wise wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Jones keeps trying to improve his position. John Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Jones struggling a bit here. Wise scores with punches from side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones taking a bit of punishment here - Wise scoring with strikes. Stanley Wise has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! John Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Wise in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to John Jones. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
