Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Evans!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans misses with the combination.
Evans throws a sloppy head kick and Kang moves out of range easily.

Kang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Evans is looking to stand up but Kang isn't so interested in that idea.
Kang scoring with punches to the head and body.
Evans keeping full guard, as Kang tries to pass.
Kang distracts Evans with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kang is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Kang throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kang connects with a couple of short punches.
Kang loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Kang content to stall in guard here.
Kang trying to control the position from guard on top but Evans is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kang scoring with punches to the head and body.
Kang trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kang working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kang content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Evans keeping moving, preventing Kang from controlling successfully.
Kang controlling from the top position.
Kang might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kang lands a couple of digs.

Kang is in close to Evans's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Kang throws a big elbow that misses.
Evans looks winded!
Kang is working Evans over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Kang works over Evans with some ground and pound from guard.
Kang cracks Evans with a solid left hand.


Evans is rocked!
Kang loads up on a big left hand. Evans felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kang looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Evans can't hide his disappointment, as Kang celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Kang!
During a confident post fight interview, Nick Kang thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
