Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Tarnowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nixon comes to the cage accompanied by The Upsetters - Dread Lion. Tarnowski has chosen Hemp Gru - Sami swoi as his entrance music. Richard Nixon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nixon scores with a shot to the body.
Tarnowski shoots in and drives through. Nixon sprawls well.
A clash of legs there as Nixon blocks the low kick.
Tarnowski stalks Nixon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nixon's face. Nixon staggers backwards, shaken.
Tarnowski dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nixon. That did some damage!
Nixon throws a jab but it's blocked by Tarnowski.
Tarnowski changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nixon regains half guard there - taking advantage of Tarnowski's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tarnowski connects with a nice short shot to Nixon's temple.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nixon tries to kick Tarnowski off but Tarnowski keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Tarnowski working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Nixon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
