Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Drew Petrie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arthur Dayne!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrie misses with a few strikes there.
Dayne misses with a takedown attempt - Petrie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Petrie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dayne.
Dayne shoots and misses
and Petrie counters with a straight right hand.
Drew Petrie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Dayne.
Petrie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dayne throws out a counter right but Petrie avoids it with no problem.
Arthur Dayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dayne takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Arthur Dayne has been cut.
Petrie gets caught napping as Dayne dives in and scores a takedown. Petrie manages to retain guard.
Petrie pulls Dayne in close to prevent any damage.
Dayne throws an elbow that misses. Petrie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dayne's guard. Nice move by Petrie!
Petrie trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Petrie is looking to work some ground and pound but Dayne has wrist control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Petrie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Petrie wants to control from the top but Dayne keeps moving.
Dayne is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Dayne rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Petrie counters with a one-two to the body.
Dayne shoots for a takedown but Petrie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dayne feints and as Petrie raises his hands in defense, Dayne changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Petrie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dayne is aware though and is defending well.
Petrie looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dayne content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Dayne is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Petrie on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Petrie tries to get out of the position.

Petrie is trying to control the position but Dayne postures up.
Dayne postures up in Petrie's guard and throws a big left but Petrie blocks it.
Petrie is adopting a defensive guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Drew Petrie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dayne fails to land the takedown.
No luck for Dayne with that takedown attempt.
Dayne closes the distance and clinches up with Petrie, looking for a takedown. Dayne pushes Petrie against the cage but Petrie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Petrie lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Nice shot lands for Petrie.
Petrie thows a left - swing and a miss!
Dayne looks up at the clock. Bad move! Petrie lands a right hand from hell, dropping Dayne. Petrie pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Drew Petrie!
