Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bundy comes into the arena with Bad to The Bone blaring out of the sound system. Barnes has chosen Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be as his entrance music. Nate Barnes acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nate Barnes!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Bundy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Barnes is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Bundy with a body shot.

and Bundy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Barnes is looking to score with low kicks.

It looks like Nate Barnes has been cut.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bundy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Barnes slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Bundy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Barnes is aware though and is defending well.

Bundy has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Barnes has passed into side control.
Barnes tries to move to mount but Bundy blocks the move with his legs.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Barnes is looking to take a break and control but Bundy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Al Bundy will probably get the nod.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bundy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Barnes at a distance.

A punch lands to the side of Bundy 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Bundy misses with an uppercut
enabling Barnes to counter with a crisp jab.
Nate Barnes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bundy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barnes.
Bundy doesn't manage to clinch there - Barnes circles away.
Barnes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bundy on the side of the head.

Barnes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bundy has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Bundy lands with a big left! Barnes is wobbled badly! Bundy comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Barnes to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Al Bundy!
