Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Malvin Maldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emile Sauvage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maldi's entrance music is Loituma TECHNO!. A fine choice. Sauvage has chosen Chaos Is Me as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Malvin Maldi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emile Sauvage! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maldi scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sauvage works his way to full guard. Good work. Maldi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Maldi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Maldi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Maldi trying to control but Sauvage is working from the bottom. Sauvage is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Sauvage is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Maldi gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Maldi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Maldi lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sauvage backs up against the cage.
Maldi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sauvage shoots and misses and Maldi counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Maldi. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Maldi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sauvage is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sauvage controls Maldi momentarily but Maldi frees himself. Maldi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maldi wants to pass the guard but Sauvage is keeping the position. Sauvage looking for a sweep. Not yet Sauvage, not yet. Maldi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Maldi wants to control from the top but Sauvage keeps moving. Maldi is breathing heavily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Maldi has his takedown stuffed and Sauvage counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Maldi! Sauvage wants to control the pace but Maldi is squirming around nicely. Sauvage working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sauvage trying to control but he's not successful this time. Sauvage goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Maldi is on top in guard.
Maldi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Maldi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sauvage is on top in guard.
Sauvage throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sauvage pushes down on Maldi's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sauvage tries to pass the half guard into mount. Maldi knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Maldi punching from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sauvage is trying to work for a kimura but Maldi is defending well.
Sauvage sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Maldi defending well though. Sauvage has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Maldi really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Maldi is working hard here to advance position. Sauvage can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Maldi is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Maldi tries to hold on but Sauvage postures up. Maldi defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Sauvage. Maldi is desperately trying to improve his position but Sauvage has a good base and remains in mount. Sauvage trying to control but Maldi is having none of it. Maldi tries to reverse the position but Sauvage maintains control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Maldi holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Sauvage tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Malvin Maldi will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Sauvage thows a body shot but no joy. Maldi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Sauvage slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Sauvage wants to get back to full guard but Maldi has mounted him! Sauvage is working to get back to half guard.
Sauvage sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Sauvage is positioning himself well to prevent Maldi advancing to mount. Sauvage is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maldi has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Maldi jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sauvage manages to avoid the submission attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sauvage gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Sauvage is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Maldi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Maldi's back! Sauvage is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Maldi knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Maldi for a finish. Sauvage is cranking Maldi's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Maldi! He's tightened the choke and Maldi is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Emile Sauvage!
