The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rikidozan tries to move into range but Tilthammer moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Katsuji Rikidozan has been cut.
Rikidozan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tilthammer. That did some damage!
Rikidozan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Axia Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Rikidozan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tilthammer throws a sloppy head kick
and Rikidozan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tilthammer is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rikidozan.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tilthammer. Rikidozan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rikidozan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tilthammer on the side of the head.
Tilthammer finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

and Tilthammer counters with a three punch combo that has Rikidozan backing up. Rikidozan nods at Tilthammer to acknowledge the strikes.
