Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Crosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Been (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Crosby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Been! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crosby fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Been throws a counter combo. Been ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Been swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Been drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Been is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crosby is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Been is staying tight to Crosby's torso, preventing him from escaping. Been misses with the ground and pound. Been wants to lay and pray for a moment but Crosby keeps working. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Been controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Been explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Been scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Been dives in and scores a takedown into Crosby's guard. Been slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Let's hope that Been has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Been pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Crosby is keeping the position for now. Been sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Crosby's guard. Crosby missing with punches from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Been seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Been closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Been lands in his opponent's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Been is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Been dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Been stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Been wants it to stay on the feet. Been drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Crosby defends it well. Been forces Crosby back against the cage and clinches. Crosby keeps control of Been as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Crosby tries to pull guard but Been won't allow it.

Been trying to control the position from guard on top but Crosby is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Been is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Been with a nice head shot there. Crosby has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Been is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Crosby. Been controls the position. Been is trying to get an arm triangle but Crosby is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crosby tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Crosby prevents Been from getting a body triangle. Been controls the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Been wants to control but Crosby manages to buck him off and is now in Been's guard! Nice work there by Crosby! Been manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Been buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
No joy there for Crosby, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Been looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Been passes into half guard. Been is controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Been stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Been showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Crosby on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Crosby throws a body shot but no joy. Crosby tries to clinch up. Been shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Crosby manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Crosby being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crosby looking for a guillotine here but Been defends easily.
Been wants to control from the top but Crosby keeps moving. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Been slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Crosby trying to remain calm as Been controls from the top position. Peter Been has got the better of the ground game so far. Been tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Been has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Been taking a breather here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crosby is looking to reverse the position. Been wants to control but Crosby is keeping him busy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Been misses the shot to the body. Crosby throws a series of punches but Been moves out of range. Crosby avoids the head kick by Been.
Crosby half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Been is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Crosby's half guard. Been stops Crosby from getting back to his feet.
Peter Been is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Crosby wants to get back to full guard. Been keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Crosby is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Been pulls his head out easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Been prevents Crosby from standing back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Been comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Been has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
