Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gary Bitters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Mewes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bitters kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Maybe. Gary Bitters could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jason Mewes's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Bitters misses.
Mewes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bitters. That's going to slow Mewes down.

Bitters closes the distance and clinches.
Mewes gets underhooks to prevent Bitters's takedown attempt.
Mewes fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Bitters.

Mewes has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Bitters knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mewes on the ground.
Bitters postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Bitters is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mewes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Mewes passes Bitters's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Mewes seems to be looking for submissions.
Mewes is keen to just control but Bitters is a slippery customer.

That was a close round but I would say that Gary Bitters will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bitters lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mewes or not.
Bitters is trying to drag Mewes to the mat but Mewes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Mewes throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bitterss head.

Mewes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bitters finds it's way round the side to connect with Mewes's head.
Bitters lunges at Mewes with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mewes's hand.
Gary Bitters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mewes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bitters was well out of range. Poor timing from Mewes.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mewes, as that shot connected.
Mewes doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bitters lands with a nice body punch.

Bitters was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bitters.
Mewes tries to close the distance and clinch but Bitters swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mewes goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gary Bitters will probably get the nod.

Bitters throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mewes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Mewes is working for takedown but Bitters is calmly controlling the position for now.
Bitters digs a right hand underneath Mewes's ribcage. Mewes let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Mewes has Bitters pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bitters manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Gary Bitters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Mewes.

Gary Bitters really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Dissolution Fight Wear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
