Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikaiah Rynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fritz Haarmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haarmann is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Macabre - Fritz Haarmann The Butcher . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mikaiah Rynn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fritz Haarmann! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rynn bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Haarmann's head. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Haarmann has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Mikaiah Rynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rynn throws a nice outside leg kick. Rynn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Haarmann was well out of range. Poor timing from Rynn. Haarmann drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rynn defends it well. Rynn scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Rynn scores with a body shot.

Haarmann drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rynn defends it well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! That's one minute gone in the round. Rynn lands with a good body shot. Haarmann shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Haarmann ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Haarmann closes the distance and clinches up with Rynn, looking for a takedown. Haarmann pushes Rynn against the cage but Rynn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Haarmann slips under a jab. And Haarmann tries to counter it with a takedown but Rynn pushes his down on his head and steps out. Rynn lands a jab to Haarmann's midsection. Haarmann has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rynn finds it's way round the side to connect with Haarmann's head. Rynn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haarmann manages to avoid it. Haarmann tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. A jab from Haarmann misses. Rynn misses the shot to the body. Haarmann lands a nice hook to Rynn's body. Rynn takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Rynn connects with an inside leg kick. The crowd cheers as Rynn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Haarmann doesn't seem phased though. Rynn throws a one two combo.
Haarmann throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rynn sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rynn swings for the body but Haarmann moves out of range.
Haarmann uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rynn. Rynn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Haarmann.

And Haarmann tries to counter it with a takedown but Rynn pushes his down on his head and steps out. Mikaiah Rynn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rynn tries to work over Haarmann's front leg with a kick but Haarmann checks it. A swing and a miss from Rynn. Haarmann is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Good standup being displayed there by Rynn as he connects with a hook. Haarmann thows a left - swing and a miss! Haarmann slips a jab and a cross from Rynn.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Rynn as Haarmann shoots in. Haarmann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rynn tries to avoid it but Haarmann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rynn to the ground. Rynn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mikaiah Rynn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fritz Haarmann. Haarmann takes a swing at Rynn's ribcage but misses. A jab lands there for Rynn. Rynn takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Rynn misses with a hook. Haarmann checks a leg kick. Jab, jab by Rynn - just one landing. Haarmann swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. It looked like Rynn wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Rynn lands with a thumping leg kick.
Haarmann uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rynn. Haarmann swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haarmann slips a jab from Rynn. Rynn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rynn lands an overhand right. Rynn is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Haarmann avoids a low kick by using good footwork. And Haarmann tries to counter it with a takedown but Rynn pushes his down on his head and steps out. Rynn digs a good body shot into Haarmann's ribs. Rynn connects with a body shot. Rynn blocks a jab. Rynn takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Rynn fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Haarmann on the side of the head. Rynn misses with a body shot.
Haarmann with the counter takedown but Rynn avoids it easily. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rynn swings away with a leg kick that misses. Rynn loads up on a big right hand but Haarmann slips the punch. Haarmann shoots in for a takedown but Rynn shows good takedown defense. Haarmann punishes Rynn's body with a nice straight punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mikaiah Rynn dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rynn tries to sprawl but Haarmann drives through with a takedown into half guard. Rynn controlling the position well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rynn tries to get to full guard but Haarmann has control of the leg. Rynn is working hard here to advance position. Haarmann is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rynn defends it well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rynn tries to roll over but Haarmann keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rynn is looking to control Haarmann's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rynn avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Haarmann slows the pace down in half guard. Haarmann is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rynn has managed to free his arm - good work. Haarmann wants to control but Rynn is keeping him busy. Haarmann frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Haarmann with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Rynn is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haarmann has control of Rynn's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rynn regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Haarmann is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Haarmann extends the arm and Rynn is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Fritz Haarmann! A less than humble Fritz Haarmann misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
