Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Boitsoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tolo Seia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boitsoff comes to the cage accompanied by My Domination. Seia has chosen Limp Bizkit - Thieves as his entrance music. Dmitry Boitsoff has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Boitsoff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tolo Seia!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seia stuns Boitsoff with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Boitsoff dips to his left and cracks Seia with an uppercut!
Good shot there by Boitsoff.
Seia lands a nice shot to the body.
Seia misses with a telegraphed body shot

so Boitsoff counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Seia wants to stand but Boitsoff is controlling the position.
Seia working a defensive guard but Boitsoff manages to pass into side control anyway.
Boitsoff wants to lay and pray for a moment but Seia keeps working.
Sloppy strikes there by Boitsoff.
Boitsoff is looking to take a break and control but Seia is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Boitsoff fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Seia tries to buck Boitsoff off but Boitsoff is having none of it.

Boitsoff tries for a kimura but Seia is defending well.

Boitsoff tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boitsoff has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Boitsoff tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
We've been hearing that Boitsoff has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Boitsoff is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Seia's shoulder. That is not cool.
Seia stops Boitsoff from passing to mount.
Boitsoff misses with the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seia is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Seia taking punishment in the form of punches.

Seia is pushing Boitsoff's head away, looking to escape. Boitsoff manages to hold on to the position though.
Boitsoff cracks Seia with a big elbow.
Seia stops Boitsoff from passing to mount.
Seia is not content to let Boitsoff control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Seia's corner calls for a 1-2. Seia obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.


It looks like Dmitry Boitsoff has been cut.
Boitsoff throws a nice looking combination but Seia bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Seia walks into a stiff left hand from Boitsoff.
Boitsoff moves out of range as Seia strikes.
Boitsoff avoids the body shot from Seia.
Boitsoff ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Boitsoff tries to clinch but Seia moves away
letting Seia counter with a right hand.
Seia throws a hook but Boitsoff avoids it easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Seia lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Seia ducks under a wild hook from Boitsoff.
Tolo Seia is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Seia is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boitsoff.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice takedown defense from Seia. No joy for Boitsoff on that attempt.
Boitsoff wants to clinch
letting Seia counter with a right hand.
Horrible takedown attempt by Boitsoff or perhaps it was just good defense by Seia, which made it look bad.
Boitsoff tries to close the distance and clinch up but Seia swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Boitsoff throws a head kick that half lands.
Boitsoff fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boitsoff works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Seia throws a solid leg kick but Boitsoff takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Seia.
Boitsoff lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Seia circles away quickly and effectively.
Seia swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Boitsoff misses with a straight right.
Seia uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boitsoff.

Boitsoff shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Seia defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dmitry Boitsoff. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd cheers as Boitsoff lands an impressive looking overhand right. Seia doesn't seem phased though.
Boitsoff swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Seia.
Boitsoff misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Seia appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Seia tries to score with a low kick but Boitsoff moves his leg out of the way.

Boitsoff shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Dmitry Boitsoff overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Boitsoff not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Seia keeping moving, preventing Boitsoff from controlling successfully.
Boitsoff is really struggling to control Seia but he's trying to hold on to the position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Boitsoff shoots and misses
and Seia counters with a straight right hand.
Boitsoff is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Seia can do to turn this around?
Seia throws a leg kick which misses Boitsoff's front leg but catches the back leg as Boitsoff tries to avoid it.
Seia stuffs the takedown.
Boitsoff pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Boitsoff shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Seia counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.


Dmitry Boitsoff's cut is getting worse.

Seia lands a big right hand that sends Boitsoff crashing to the mat! Seia stays standing though and waves Boitsoff back to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Seia misses with a hook. Boitsoff ducked under it nicely.

and Seia counters with a stiff right hand.

Boitsoff misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Seia only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Dmitry Boitsoff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boitsoff connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Tolo Seia seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Boitsoff waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Seia.
Boitsoff takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Boitsoff throws a head kick but Seia moves out of range.
Boitsoff will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Seia drops Boitsoff with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Boitsoff looks back up at him and smiles so Seia waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Boitsoff is rocked!


Jeez, Dmitry Boitsoff's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dmitry Boitsoff's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tolo Seia!
