Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickoson works the jab nicely.
It looks like Bermaine Stivierne has been cut.
Nickoson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
A jab from Nickoson misses.
It looked like Stivierne was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Stivierne shoots in but no luck this time.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Nickoson!
Nickoson missing with a left hand there. Stivierne was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stivierne drives through and clinches with Nickoson against the cage.
Nickoson trying to control the position but instead, Stivierne has worked for underhooks and has pushed Nickoson into the cage.
Stivierne breaks from the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stivierne turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Stivierne manages to end up in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stivierne swings around for an armbar but Nickoson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Stivierne's guard.
Nickoson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nickoson is posturing up here but Stivierne has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Nickoson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Nickoson has to tap! Slick submission there by Stivierne!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bermaine Stivierne!
