Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Enting Butikol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butikol kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Chris Robinson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Enting Butikol!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Robinson!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butikol darts in trying to clinch
and Robinson counters with a right hand to the body.
Butikol misses with a body shot.
Robinson slips under a jab from Butikol.
Robinson looks to throw the jab but Butikol is out of range.
Butikol doesn't manage to clinch there - Robinson circles away.
Chris Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Robinson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Butikol on his heels. He'll look to pass Butikol's guard now, I'm sure.
Butikol tries to land a sweep but no joy.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Robinson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Robinson wants to control from the top but Butikol keeps moving.

Robinson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Butikol has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Robinson has managed to get both his arms back between Butikol's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Butikol had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Robinson defends it easily.
Robinson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Butikol is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Butikol looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Butikol working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Robinson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Robinson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Butikol keeping moving, preventing Robinson from controlling successfully.
Robinson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Robinson advances to half guard.
Robinson drops an elbow to the side of Butikol's head.
Butikol makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Butikol.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Butikol is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Robinson defends well.
Robinson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Butikol looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Robinson has picked Butikol up and slammed him! Butikol can't keep hold of the triangle and Robinson manages to pass to side control!

Robinson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Robinson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Butikol is rocked!

Robinson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Butikol knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Oh Butikol is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Butikol tries to bench press Robinson off him but Robinson keeps the position.
Butikol seems to have got his legs back now.

Butikol is trying to work for a sweep but Robinson has mounted him!
Robinson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Oooh a big shot lands for Robinson! Butikol is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Chris Robinson!

An out of breath Chris Robinson thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
