Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tech Nizzle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andriy Arshavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nizzle comes to the cage accompanied by Midwest Choppers. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tech Nizzle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andriy Arshavin! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arshavin is looking to clinch but Nizzle is avoiding it.
Nizzle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Arshavin manages to avoid it. Arshavin throws a series of punches but Nizzle moves out of range. Nizzle avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nizzle throws a hook to the side of Arshavin's head but Arshavin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nizzle throws a left and a right that both miss
and Arshavin makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Arshavin throws a right and a left that both miss. Nizzle lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Arshavin tries to clinch there but Nizzle circles away.
Nizzle moves away from the strike by Arshavin. Nizzle lands with a straight right. Arshavin didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Andriy Arshavin has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nizzle shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Nizzle misses with a combination
and Arshavin counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Nizzle keeps the fight on the outside. Andriy Arshavin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nizzle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Arshavin is fending him off so far but Nizzle persists. Nope, Arshavin circles away and we're back to standing. Arshavin throws a body kick that misses. Arshavin misses with a two punch combination.
Nizzle fails with a takedown attempt. Arshavin looks to land a right hand but Nizzle moved out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arshavin staying out of range there. Nizzle shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nizzle showed some decent athleticism there. Nizzle stops Arshavin from getting back to his feet.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Nizzle lands a nice short elbow. Arshavin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nizzle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Arshavin pushes Nizzle off looking to stand but Nizzle dives back in and keeps control.
Arshavin is trying to escape back to his feet but Nizzle uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Nizzle grinds an elbow into Arshavin's temple. Arshavin wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nizzle misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nizzle working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Nizzle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Arshavin is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Nizzle looks up at the clock and then as Arshavin takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nizzle smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Arshavin wants to get back to his feet. Arshavin looks gassed! Nizzle is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Arshavin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Arshavin is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Nizzle asserts his dominance and retains side control. Nizzle lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Arshavin down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Nizzle landing a few strikes. Arshavin tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Nizzle landing with strikes. Nizzle is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nizzle has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Arshavin. Nizzle darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Arshavin is breathing heavily. Arshavin looks like he's trying to stand up.
Nizzle works his way into full mount! Nizzle is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Arshavin is surviving well by controlling Nizzle's body position as best he can. Arshavin is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arshavin taking shots to the head. Arshavin is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Nizzle wants to control the pace but Arshavin is squirming around nicely. Arshavin wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Arshavin is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Arshavin is squirming around, avoiding Nizzle's attempts to control the action. Arshavin is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Nizzle putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Nizzle fails with a takedown attempt. Arshavin moves in looking to clinch but Nizzle pushes him off. Arshavin misses with a body kick. Nizzle ducks under a wild hook from Arshavin. Tech Nizzle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nizzle looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nizzle working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arshavin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nizzle scores with a couple of nice shots. Arshavin wants to get back to his feet.
Nizzle frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Arshavin is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Nizzle pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Nizzle with a couple of short strikes. Arshavin is trying to stand up. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nizzle cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

And that's the end of the fight! Tech Nizzle showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nizzle, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
