Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sebastian Nixon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Davis! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis throws a lazy head kick so Nixon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Davis looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Davis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nixon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Davis throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Davis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nixon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Nixon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nixon seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Davis for as long as he can get away with. Nixon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Davis throws a nice head kick!
Davis throws a head kick that misses and Nixon counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Davis! Davis is looking to reverse the position. Nixon controls the position from side control. Nixon tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Nixon wants to stand but Davis has his arm trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis tries to bench press Nixon off him but Nixon keeps the position. Davis being controlled for a moment. Davis tries to improve position but can't. Nixon takes a little break here. Davis wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis tries to buck Nixon off but Nixon is having none of it. Davis takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Nixon is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Nixon continues to stall.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Nixon instigates a clinch. Nixon manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Davis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Nixon trying to control the position here. Davis has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nixon is proving hard to escape from. Nixon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Nixon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Davis drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nixon dives on top into guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nixon sitting in guard, not really doing much. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sebastian Nixon dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nixon gets a clinch. Nixon pulls guard. Davis working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Davis is looking to pass into half guard but Nixon pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Nixon is in guard.
Davis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nixon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nixon controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nixon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nixon stands and throws Davis's legs to the side, diving into side control. Davis is looking to regain half guard here but Nixon keeps moving and retains side control. Sebastian Nixon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Davis struggling a bit here. Davis gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Nixon keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Davis looking for submissions off his back. Davis is breathing heavily. Nixon content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis is trying to stand up here but Nixon is controlling him well. Nixon stalling. Davis scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Nixon manages to mount him!
Nixon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. More hug and hope from Nixon. Davis tries to get back to half guard but can't. Nixon with a couple of short strikes. Nixon looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Nixon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davis is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Nixon scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Davis?
Nixon controlling from the full mount. Davis is desperately trying to improve his position but Nixon has a good base and remains in mount. Nixon controlling the pace for now. Davis wants to get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nixon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Davis is working to get back to half guard.

Davis goes for a double leg but Nixon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nixon continues to drive forward. Davis tries a head kick but it misses.
Davis throws a sloppy head kick and Nixon counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Davis! Davis is trying to get back to half guard. Nixon remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Davis is looking for a sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Nixon decides to stand back up. Nixon steps back and let's Davis get back to his feet. Davis throws a head kick that misses and Nixon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Davis thinking. Davis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Davis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nixon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Nixon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Davis can do to turn this around? Nixon stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Nixon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Davis to the mat! Davis manages to get full guard. Davis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nixon controls the pace. Nixon decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Davis throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nixon counters with a right hand to the body. Davis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A quick step to the side and Nixon tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Nixon has Davis up against the cage in a clinch.
Nixon drags the fight down to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nixon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Davis has Nixon in his guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Davis looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Nixon slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Nixon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Davis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nixon has managed to get both his arms back between Davis's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nixon decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Nixon instigates a clinch. Nixon jumps into guard, dragging Davis to the mat.
Nixon is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Davis frees his head nicely. Oh but Nixon has switched to an armbar! Davis is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
