Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Igor Romanov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Torsti Karjala!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karjala gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Romanov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Romanov wants to pass the guard but Karjala is keeping the position.
Romanov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Karjala works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Romanov won't allow Karjala to get back to his feet.

Romanov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Karjala's guard.
Karjala really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Romanov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Romanov frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Romanov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Romanov wants to control the pace but Karjala is squirming around nicely.
Romanov is landing with some decent strikes but Karjala is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Romanov throwing strikes here but Karjala is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Romanov wants to finish this one by submission but Karjala is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Romanov.

You get the feeling that Karjala really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Romanov has control of Karjala's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Karjala regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Romanov is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Romanov!
