The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Francis DeMontford and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Beattie catches Ramos right on the button with a cross.
Beattie looks to land a right hand but Ramos moved out of range.
Ramos looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ramos slips under a jab.
Ramos misses with a left hand
and Beattie counters with a right hand to the body.
Ramos defending well as Beattie loads up on a big left hand.
Ramos throws a sloppy head kick
and Beattie counters with a low kick, right behind Ramos 's knee.
Beattie feints and then cracks Ramos's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ramos down.
Ramos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Beattie.
We've been hearing reports that Beattie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Beattie connects with a right that clearly hurt Ramos. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Beattie proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Ramos collapses and taps out under the pressure!
