Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thai Muay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janno Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibbs is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Apocalypse Please. Janno Gibbs struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thai Muay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Janno Gibbs! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Hugh Johnson and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Muay closes the distance and clinches. Gibbs working hard to break the clinch. Muay is looking to control Gibbs's arms but Gibbs gets an underhook and turns him. Now Muay has his back to the cage. Muay misses with a knee to the head. Gibbs throws a head punch that misses. Gibbs has had enough of the clinch but Muay keeps him there for the moment. Gibbs is trying to break the clinch but Muay is controlling him. Muay connects with a knee to the head.
Muay unloads a knee to the mid-section. Gibbs lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Gibbs misses with a hook from the clinch. Muay lands a nice knee to the body. Gibbs is looking to break free of the clinch but Muay has double underhooks. Gibbs working hard to break the clinch. Muay breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Muay scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Muay has managed to clinch.
Muay lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Gibbs. Our sources have told us that Muay has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Nice body punch from Muay - that landed with a thud.
Gibbs looks winded! A knee to the head by Muay.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gibbs wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Muay lands a knee to the head.
Gibbs being controlled against the cage. Muay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muay moves out of range of the strikes. A solid leg kick lands there for Muay.
A nice inside leg kick there by Muay. That's going to slow Gibbs down. Gibbs misses the jab. Muay feinted there with a counter leg kick. Muay thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gibbs if he has to take too many more of those.
Thai Muay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Muay with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Muay circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Gibbs drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Muay follows Gibbs to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
