Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ulrich McHaggis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Bigmursu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McHaggis comes into the arena with Rock Co Kane Flow blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHaggis tries a head kick but it misses.
McHaggis moves into the clinch successfully.
McHaggis breaks the clinch.
McHaggis throws a quick inside leg kick.
McHaggis fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bigmursu tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and McHaggis counters with a good, hard body kick but Bigmursu shrugs it off.
Bigmursu wants to clinch
and McHaggis counters with a nice double leg into guard.
McHaggis won't allow Bigmursu to sweep him here.
McHaggis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McHaggis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bigmursu looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bigmursu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

McHaggis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Bigmursu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
McHaggis with a flurry of punches that miss.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McHaggis cracks Bigmursu with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
McHaggis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bigmursu swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McHaggis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
McHaggis perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bigmursu is staying active underneath McHaggis, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
McHaggis trying to pass the guard but Bigmursu defending well.
McHaggis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bigmursu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
McHaggis tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bigmursu.

Bigmursu tries to roll over but McHaggis keeps him under control.
McHaggis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bigmursu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McHaggis.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and McHaggis counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bigmursu misses with a low kick as McHaggis jumps back.
Bigmursu throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McHaggis wants to clinch
and Bigmursu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

McHaggis is looking to clinch.
McHaggis tries to clinch up but Bigmursu circles away and keeps his distance.
McHaggis takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bigmursu tries to close the distance and clinch up but McHaggis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McHaggis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bigmursu, pushing him back against the cage.
McHaggis can't get the takedown.
McHaggis tries to score a body lock takedown but Bigmursu shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
McHaggis content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Bigmursu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bigmursu shoots for a takedown but McHaggis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ulrich McHaggis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Bigmursu.
Bigmursu drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
McHaggis controls Bigmursu momentarily but Bigmursu frees himself.

Bigmursu trying to stand up but can't free himself from McHaggis's guard.
McHaggis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
McHaggis lands a big elbow.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McHaggis has control of Bigmursu's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bigmursu regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Bigmursu can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bigmursu looks for a takedown but McHaggis sprawls well.
Bigmursu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bigmursu shoots for a double leg takedown but McHaggis sprawls well. He's pushed Bigmursu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McHaggis rushes Bigmursu and presses him up against the cage.
McHaggis gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
McHaggis tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
McHaggis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bigmursu pulls him back up using the underhooks.
McHaggis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and McHaggis counters with a nice leg kick.

Bigmursu fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McHaggis sprawls well initially but Bigmursu persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Bigmursu is just content to waste time from the top position. McHaggis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
McHaggis wants to improve his position but instead Bigmursu has moved into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bigmursu cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
McHaggis working to try and regain half guard.
Bigmursu lands a nice shot to the head.
Bigmursu lands a big elbow.
Bigmursu looking for a guillotine from mount but McHaggis is having none of it.
McHaggis holds on, trying desperately to control.

Bigmursu prevents McHaggis from getting the reversal.
McHaggis is working hard here to advance position.
McHaggis is squirming around, avoiding Bigmursu's attempts to control the action.
McHaggis tries to hold on but Bigmursu pushes him away.
McHaggis is in all sorts of trouble here.
A nice elbow there by Bigmursu.
McHaggis tries to lock up and control but Bigmursu gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Bigmursu cracks McHaggis with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Carl Bigmursu will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Bigmursu with a poor takedown
and McHaggis counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
McHaggis tries to close the distance and clinch but Bigmursu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McHaggis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bigmursu lunges at McHaggis with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by McHaggis's hand.
McHaggis digs a good body shot into Bigmursu's ribs.
Bigmursu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McHaggis pushes Bigmursu up against the cage in a clinch.
Bigmursu wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
McHaggis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bigmursu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bigmursu trying to control the position from guard on top but McHaggis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ulrich McHaggis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bigmursu is sitting in close to McHaggis's body. McHaggis has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bigmursu is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bigmursu is tapping! That was a very nice submission by McHaggis.
