Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eddy Little!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Little misses.
Kartal appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Little looks to land a combination but Kartal avoids it well.
Kartal feinted with a counter takedown.
Little misses the jab.
Kartal half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Kartal seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Little lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Little swings widly with a right hand

and Kartal counters with a nice double leg into side control. Little won't be happy with that.
Little is looking to regain half guard here but Kartal keeps moving and retains side control.

Kartal goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Little rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kartal's guard! Nice work there by Little!
Kartal on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kartal tries to get out of the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kartal avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Little trying to control the position from guard on top but Kartal is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Little slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Little wants to stand and escape but instead Kartal has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kartal postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Little is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kartal, into his guard.

Kartal is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Little pushes down on Kartal's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kartal wants to get back to full guard.
Kartal is refusing to be controlled, as Little sits in half guard.
Little is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kartal wants to improve his position but Little is controlling well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kartal slips a nice elbow through Little's hands, connecting with Little's forehead.

Little has hold of Kartal's hands but Kartal slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Kartal looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Little with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kartal is stalling here. Little is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kartal seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Little has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Little thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Little tries to score with some ground and pound. Kartal controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Little looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Little seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Little throws a body punch but Kartal moves out of range.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Little might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kartal haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
