Hawks has chosen over the top as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lincoln Hawks! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawks slips under a jab. Johnson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Johnson stands up and beckons Hawks to his feet. Hawks looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Hawks persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing. Hawks lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Chris Johnson has been cut. Johnson has Hawks up against the cage in a clinch.
Johnson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Hawks wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Johnson has him pressed against the cage. Hawks is trying to break the clinch but Johnson has him pressed against the cage. Johnson fails to pull guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hawks throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Johnson tumbling to the canvas!
Johnson is rocked! Hawks stands up and waves to Johnson to follow him. Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hawks moves in close and cracks Johnson with a massive right hand! Johnson, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Hawks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lincoln Hawks!
