Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rampage Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Tepper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Evans looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Evans closes the distance and clinches up with Tepper, looking for a takedown. Evans pushes Tepper against the cage but Tepper circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tepper stuffs the takedown attempt from Evans. Evans gets slowly back to his feet.
Tepper keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tepper looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Evans is fending him off so far but Tepper persists. Nope, Evans circles away and we're back to standing.

Evans shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tepper pinned against the cage. Tepper gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tepper throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Tepper holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Tepper tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Evans smiles and moves away.

Evans has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tepper is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tepper is pressed up against the cage. Evans has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tepper down to the mat. Tepper avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Evans shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tepper but Tepper pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Evans shoots for a double leg takedown but Tepper sprawls well. He's pushed Evans's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tepper feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Evans looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Evans working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tepper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tepper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Evans is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Tyler Tepper dominated that round.
That's time! Evans's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tepper misses with a head kick.

Evans changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tepper tries to avoid it but Evans manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tepper to the ground. Tepper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tepper shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Evans but Evans pushes him off and we're back to square one.
