Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Everette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Rubin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rubin has chosen AQUILES PRIESTER el mejor baterista del mundo as his entrance music. Danny Everette has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maxwell Rubin!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Everette misses the shot to the body.
Rubin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Everette manages to avoid it.

Rubin throws a body shot but no joy.
Everette throws an overhand right that lands on Rubin's shoulder, as Rubin tries to avoid the shot.
Rubin replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Everette blocks it well.
Rubin scores with a leg kick.
Rubin attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Everette was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Everette rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rubin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Rubin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Everette swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Everette will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

That was a close round but I would say that Danny Everette will probably get the nod.
