Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Myles Newell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Myles Newell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Austin! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thud! ouch! good body kick from Newell - that will leave a mark!
Newell throws a body kick that misses. Austin wants to clinch up but Newell keeps it at a distance. Newell misses with a body shot.
Austin misses with a series of wild punches.
Newell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Austin is looking to clinch but Newell is avoiding it.
Newell avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've been informed that Austin has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Austin goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Newell swats away the attempt to clinch by Austin. Newell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Austin.

and Newell counters with a nice double leg into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Newell loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Newell postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Newell landing some decent shots from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Newell scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Newell trying to control but Austin is working from the bottom. Newell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Newell throws an elbow that misses. Austin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Newell's guard. Nice move by Austin! Austin preventing the sweep. Newell utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Austin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Newell wants to get back to his feet but Austin passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Austin is looking to take a break and control but Newell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Newell is looking for a sweep. Austin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Newell moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Newell is controlling Austin's posture. Newell has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Austin stuffs the takedown attempt from Newell. Newell gets slowly back to his feet. Newell works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A jab from Austin does it's job there. Austin wants to clinch up but Newell keeps it at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Austin fails with an attempt to clinch.

Austin tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Austin lands an elbow that stopped Newell in his tracks for a moment. Austin breaks from the clinch.

Jack Austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Newell shoots in but Austin avoids the takedown attempt easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A punch combination from Austin misses. Austin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Newell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Austin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

A close round but Jack Austin will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Newell stuns Austin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Austin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Austin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. It's a brutal combination of punches from Austin! Newell is backing up but he can't get away as Austin lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Newell and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jack Austin! A very excited looking Jack Austin rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
