PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by god save the queen sex pistols. Owens has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee pushes Owens up against the cage in a clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Brad Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Owens back to the cage. Lee follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lee, as that shot connected.
Owens has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Owens there as he acknowledges the shot.

Owens's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Owens's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
