Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jurgen Murgen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Shumate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jurgen Murgen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Shumate!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murgen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Shumate lands a jab to the nose.
Murgen lands with a hook. Shumate tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Shumate misses with a left hand
and Murgen counters with an inside leg kick.
Shumate ducks right into an uppercut from Murgen.
Shumate takes a swing at Murgen's ribcage but misses.
Murgen staying out of range there.

Murgen lands with a kick to the ribs.
Murgen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bad Pluto! (17 Elite Coach) in the buildup to the fight.
Murgen throws a leg kick which misses Shumate's front leg but catches the back leg as Shumate tries to avoid it.
Shumate throws a series of punches but Murgen moves out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shumate tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Murgen swivels and escapes.
Shumate takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Shumate looks winded!
Murgen throws a front kick that sends Shumate stumbling back into the ropes.
Murgen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Shumate takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Adam Shumate has been cut.
Shumate swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Murgen goes for a small jab and connects. Now Murgen goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Shumate stumbles back but Murgen runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Shumate to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Shumate will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
