Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Garth Cantu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Baby Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Garth Cantu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bobby Baby Face! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Ben Watson and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cantu fails with an attempt to clinch.
Baby Face is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Baby Face shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Baby Face is figuring out what he wants to do next. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cantu is looking to control Baby Face's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cantu avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Baby Face is pressing down on Cantu's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cantu is holding on for now. Cantu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Cantu is trying to maintain the position but Baby Face is very close to passing his half guard. Cantu pushes Baby Face off looking to stand but Baby Face dives back in and keeps control.
Baby Face has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Baby Face sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Cantu is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Baby Face controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baby Face looking for a guillotine from mount but Cantu is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baby Face prevents Cantu from getting the reversal. Cantu tries to lock up and control but Baby Face gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Baby Face controlling the pace for now. Cantu is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Baby Face controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. It looks like Baby Face might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cantu in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Baby Face dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A leg kick checked by Cantu. Baby Face darts in and clinches Cantu up against the cage. Baby Face has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cantu clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Baby Face wants to control but Cantu is keeping busy. Cantu is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Baby Face.
Cantu wants to control his opponent's hands but Baby Face gets his hands free. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baby Face has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Cantu's body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Baby Face controls the position. Let's hope that Baby Face has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Cantu looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Baby Face controlling from the back. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Baby Face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cantu just trying to survive but Baby Face is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Despite being in a bad position, Cantu is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts. What can Cantu do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Cantu is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cantu wants to control his opponent's hands but Baby Face gets his hands free. Baby Face is riding his opponent, not letting Cantu buck him off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Baby Face showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Baby Face keeps the fight on the outside. Baby Face rushes Cantu and presses him up against the cage. Baby Face goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cantu prevents it.
Cantu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baby Face forces Cantu back against the cage and clinches. Baby Face has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Cantu after a bit of a struggle. Baby Face has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Cantu tries to break the clinch but Baby Face is controlling the position. Baby Face wants a takedown but no success here.
Garth Cantu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Baby Face. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baby Face goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cantu prevents it.

Nice shot lands for Baby Face. Bobby Baby Face seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baby Face shoots in looking for a takedown. Cantu tries to sprawl out of it but Baby Face keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cantu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Cantu could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Baby Face gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cantu counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Baby Face takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cantu not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Baby Face is trying to stand back up but Cantu is controlling him
Cantu wants to get back to his feet.
Cantu thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baby Face works his way to full guard. Good work. Cantu wants to get up but he can't break Baby Face's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Cantu working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cantu wants to stand but Baby Face is controlling his posture from full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bobby Baby Face is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Cantu changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Baby Face looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cantu throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Cantu tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Cantu lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baby Face controls the position for a moment. Cantu wants to stand but Baby Face is controlling his arm. Baby Face parries the strikes from Cantu easily there. Cantu is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Baby Face to escape.
Cantu tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Baby Face is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Cantu looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Baby Face is avoiding damage well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Baby Face is looking for a sweep. Baby Face manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cantu's best efforts. Baby Face is concentrating on defense, preventing Cantu from advancing position. Cantu trying to control the action but Baby Face is working from the bottom. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Cantu is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Cantu tries to clinch up but Baby Face circles away and keeps his distance. Baby Face has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Baby Face is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Garth Cantu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cantu has a couple of punches blocked by Baby Face.
And that's the end of the fight! Garth Cantu showed his dominance in that final round. Well Baby Face has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
