Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hector Linhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thurgood Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Linhares might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Los Sicarios, Sokol, Koras - A veces. Jenkins has chosen Mary Jane as his entrance music. Hector Linhares has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jenkins throws a leg kick
and Linhares counters with a stiff right hand.
Linhares ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jenkins connects with a good right hand that stumbles Linhares. Linhares circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jenkins throws a jab when Linhares was well out of range.
Linhares throws a leg kick but Jenkins sees it coming and moves out of range.
Jenkins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A little feinted left hand from Linhares on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Jenkins misses with a looping right.
Jenkins chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Linhares can pounce on him.

Jenkins throws a punch but it's blocked by Linhares.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jenkins works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Jenkins is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Linhares wants to sweep but no luck.
Jenkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Linhares is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jenkins is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Jenkins forces his way into half guard.

Jenkins is controlling the pace.
Jenkins is working for a kimura but Linhares is defending it quite comfortably.
Jenkins stalling away here and it's allowed Linhares to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jenkins won't allow Linhares to sweep him here.
Linhares is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jenkins engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

That was a close round but I would say that Hector Linhares will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Linhares bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That kick from Linhares tenderised Jenkins's leg. Jenkins is trying to keep his angry face on.

Jenkins lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Linhares uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jenkins has time to react.
Sloppy strikes from Jenkins. Those never looked like landing.
Linhares pushes Jenkins away with a front kick.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jenkins throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Linhares counters with a slapping leg kick.
We've been informed that Jenkins has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Linhares misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A left lands for Linhares.
Jenkins with a lazy takedown attempt
and Linhares counters with a nice uppercut.
Linhares looks to land a body kick but Jenkins moved away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jenkins crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Linhares - the referee stops the clock and Jenkins gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Linhares. Jenkins manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Jenkins is rocked!
Linhares lands a brutal uppercut that launches Jenkins off his feet! Jenkins tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hector Linhares!
A relieved looking Hector Linhares thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
