Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Kehoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kehoe comes to the cage accompanied by Angel Of Death. The crowd seem to be enjoying Shadow's choice of entrance music: Can't Be Touched. On his way into the cage it seems that Andrew Kehoe has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Andrew Kehoe seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Kehoe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bill Shadow! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shadow wants to clinch. Good work by Kehoe as he checks the leg kick. Shadow clinches up with Kehoe and pushes him back against the cage. Shadow tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kehoe's elbow. Shadow working aggressively here.
Shadow keeps control of Kehoe as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Shadow swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A shot in the inside from Shadow. Shadow effectively controlling the action here. Shadow tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kehoe can't break the clinch.
Kehoe wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kehoe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Shadow gets a clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Shadow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shadow using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kehoe has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Shadow tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kehoe's elbow. Shadow tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kehoe avoids it. Kehoe breaks from the clinch.
Shadow throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Kehoe works Shadow's body with a nice hook. Kehoe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kehoe scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Shadow sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Kehoe tries to pass the half guard into mount. Shadow knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Kehoe thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Shadow's head. Kehoe is looking to advance position but Shadow won't allow it. Shadow wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shadow works his way to full guard. Good work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shadow is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kehoe defends well. Kehoe is looking to work some ground and pound but Shadow has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shadow looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kehoe is one step ahead there. Shadow is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Shadow is still trying to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shadow is looking for a triangle but Kehoe pushes his legs off easily.

Shadow is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kehoe defends well. Kehoe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kehoe showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Shadow tries to bum rush Kehoe with a series of wild strikes but Kehoe uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kehoe is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Shadow moves out of range of the strikes. Kehoe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shadow moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shadow moves in looking to clinch but Kehoe pushes him off. Kehoe misses with a double jab.
Kehoe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Shadow's head backwards. Kehoe throws a right and a left that Shadow avoids nicely. Shadow thows a left - swing and a miss! Kehoe lands a right hook to the body.
Shadow fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Andrew Kehoe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kehoe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kehoe working over Shadow with some ground and pound. Shadow looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kehoe is looking to advance position but Shadow won't allow it. Shadow tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Kehoe has advanced to mount. Uh oh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Kehoe dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
An inside leg kick lands from Kehoe. Shadow closes the distance and pushes Kehoe back into the cage. Kehoe tries to break the clinch but Shadow is controlling the position. Kehoe wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kehoe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kehoe fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Shadow to the ground. Kehoe is now in Shadow's guard. Kehoe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shadow can do to turn this around? Shadow wants to control the position but Kehoe says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Kehoe wants to take a breather but Shadow is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shadow is trying to get back to full guard. Shadow looking for submissions off his back. Kehoe passes to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kehoe creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Shadow tries to buck Kehoe off but Kehoe is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shadow on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Kehoe working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Shadow is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kehoe off and has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kehoe needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation. Kehoe manages to reverse the position and now he's in Shadow's guard. Nice work there by Kehoe.
Kehoe seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Shadow keeping moving, preventing Kehoe from controlling successfully. Kehoe throwing strikes but missing. Shadow avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kehoe slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shadow parries the strikes from Kehoe easily there. Kehoe is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Shadow to escape.
Shadow trying to control but Kehoe flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Shadow is trying to break free.
Kehoe is punishing Shadow with some ground and pound. Kehoe scores with punches to the body. The referee is taking a good look at Shadow as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Kehoe!
Kehoe connects with a big shot to the side of Shadow's head.
Kehoe throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Shadow!
Shadow breaks Kehoe's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Andrew Kehoe overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kehoe has his hands on Shadow's head, controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kehoe tries to land a sweep but no joy. Shadow postures up.
Kehoe has control of Shadow's left arm, preventing Shadow from doing any damage. Shadow won't allow Kehoe to sweep him here. Shadow looking to pass the guard. Shadow throwing strikes from guard but Kehoe blocks nicely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kehoe trying to keep a closed guard but Shadow is proving a slippery customer.
Kehoe pulls Shadow in close to prevent any damage. Kehoe wants to sweep here but Shadow controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kehoe drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shadow is looking for a sweep. Shadow is trying to escape the position but Kehoe is controlling the position. Shadow tries to improve position but can't. Shadow is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kehoe connects with a decent elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kehoe lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Shadow down.

That's one minute gone in the round. Shadow is trying to improve his position. Shadow regains half guard. Kehoe controlling the action here. Kehoe is pressing down on Shadow's thigh, looking to free his foot. Shadow is holding on for now. Shadow is staying active underneath Kehoe, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kehoe lands with a punch from half guard. Bill Shadow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Shadow is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Shadow has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Kehoe escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Kehoe! Kehoe is putting a hurting on Shadow here, landing some big shots from side control. Kehoe cracks Shadow with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Kehoe immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Shadow is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Kehoe!
