Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dominick Thayler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dominick Thayler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Thomas! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Thomas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thayler circles away. Thayler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Thomas sprawls well initially but Thayler persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Thayler content to control rather than advance. Thomas is looking to control Thayler's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Thomas avoid being mounted? Thayler with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Thomas is trying to stand back up but Thayler is controlling him
Thomas controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Thayler is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Thomas manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thomas had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Thayler is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Thomas Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Thayler's back instead. Thayler defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Thomas's arms. Thayler holding both Thomas 's hands and preventing any damage. Thayler prevents Thomas from getting a body triangle. Thomas is persistently looking for the submission but Thayler is defending it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thomas has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Thayler has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Thomas looks gassed! Thayler trying to control but not successfully. Thayler tries to escape the position.
Thomas throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Thayler wants to control his opponent's hands but Thomas gets his hands free. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Thayler has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thomas is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Thayler has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Thomas has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Thayler taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Thomas doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ryan Thomas!
