Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between The Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carlos Ferreira!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira clinches.
Hammer is trying to break the clinch but Ferreira has him pressed against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Ferreira scores with a nice short uppercut.
Hammer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ferreira darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ferreira with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ferreira swats away the attempt to clinch by Hammer.
Ferreira lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hammer wants to clinch.
Ferreira thuds his right hand into Hammer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hammer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ferreira let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Jab, jab by Ferreira - just one landing.
Hammer tries to clinch up but Ferreira circles away and keeps his distance.
Hammer fails with a takedown attempt.
Ferreira lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ferreira.
Hammer misses with a wild body shot.
Hammer darts in looking for a takedown but Ferreira gets double underhooks and turns Hammer into the cage.
Ferreira lands with a straight right. Hammer didn't see that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hammer throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ferreira's head.
Ferreira listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Carlos Ferreira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammer feints and as Ferreira raises his hands in defense, Hammer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ferreira lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Hammer has his foot on Ferreira's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ferreira works his way back into a safe position though.
Hammer is breathing heavily.
Ferreira not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hammer wants to stand and escape but Ferreira is having none of it.
Ferreira wants to pass the guard but Hammer is keeping the position.
Ferreira postures up in Hammer's guard and throws a big left but Hammer blocks it.
Ferreira drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ferreira jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ferreira has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ferreira passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Ferreira controlling the position from side mount.
Ferreira looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ferreira is working Hammer over with some ground and pound from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Ferreira dominated that round.
That's time! Hammer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hammer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hammer shoots in for a double leg but Ferreira sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ferreira connects with a right hand. Hammer shakes it off.

Hammer walks into a left hand.
Hammer walks into a jab.
Hammer is rocked!
A solid leg kick lands there for Hammer.
Oh Hammer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ferreira lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ferreira darts in and clinches Hammer up against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ferreira lands an uppercut.
Ferreira lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hammer backwards.
Ferreira unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Hammer! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Ferreira is unloading with more strikes now! Hammer drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carlos Ferreira!
