Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Beltran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Oketch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vincent Oketch!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oketch's jab looks to have found its range, popping Beltran under the eye.
Oketch has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Beltran is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Beltran displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Oketch throws out the jab.

Beltran jabs Oketch right on the nose. Oketch blinks but takes it well.
Oketch misses with a wild combination.
Beltran scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Beltran comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Oketch takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Oketch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Beltran's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Beltran is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Oketch creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Beltran sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Beltran tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Oketch wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Beltran is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Lebowski MMA, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Oketch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beltran gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Beltran stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oketch swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Carlos Beltran will probably get the nod.
