Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Jarvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cannex Mullet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raphael Jarvis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cannex Mullet!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mullet shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jarvis is trying to defend but Mullet finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Jarvis is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jarvis is staying active underneath Mullet, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jarvis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mullet seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jarvis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jarvis is pushing Mullet up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Mullet has had enough of the clinch but Jarvis keeps him there for the moment.

Mullet jumps guard and drags Jarvis to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Jarvis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Jarvis thows a huge punch but Mullet dodges it nicely.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mullet is trying to maintain the position but Jarvis is very close to passing his half guard.

Jarvis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Mullet wants to control the action here but instead Jarvis manages to pass to full mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Cannex Mullet will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Mullet shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jarvis's guard.
Jarvis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mullet's guard.

Jarvis can't keep his opponent in guard - Mullet advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Jarvis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mullet on the ground.

Mullet seems to be working for a kimura but Jarvis defends the submission attempt.
Jarvis is concentrating on defense, preventing Mullet from advancing position.
Mullet wants to pass to mount but Jarvis is defending the position.

Mullet seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Jarvis is staying active underneath Mullet, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Cannex Mullet showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Mullet has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Cannex Mullet comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Mullet winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
