The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kline quickly recovers to half guard.
Gunn is looking to take a break and control but Kline is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gunn misses with a head shot. Kline uses the momentum to regain guard.
Gunn chips away with some ground and pound.
Gunn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kline works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kline lands some strikes from the bottom.
Kline will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kline wants to sweep here but Gunn controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kline has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gunn doesn't defend quickly enough and Kline has managed to lock this one up! Can Gunn escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kline on a fantastic submission victory.
