PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kagen Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raise Hell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hell has chosen System Of A Down-Vicinity Of Obscenity as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kagen Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Raise Hell!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Knight.
Hell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Knight throws out the jab.
Hell throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A head kick misses from Hell.
Knight lands with a right hand.
Hell throws a quick inside leg kick.
Knight attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Hell swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Knight throws a low kick but Hell moves out of range easily.
Knight backing away here, and Hell unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Hell feints and then cracks Knight's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Knight down.

Knight throws the left hand but Hell avoids the punch easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hell, as that shot connected.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Knight is looking to advance position but Hell won't allow it.
Knight thows a huge punch but Hell dodges it nicely.

Kagen Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Kagen Knight will probably get the nod.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Knight holds on and takes a little breather.

Raise Hell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oh Knight is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hell drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Knight's head, knocking him out cold! Hell is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
