Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Tsoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tsoi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Zvezda po Imeni Solnce. On his way into the cage it seems that Chuck Nogueira has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chuck Nogueira seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chuck Nogueira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Viktor Tsoi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nogueira misses with the body kick
and Tsoi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tsoi digs a good body shot into Nogueira's ribs.
Nogueira looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nogueira tries to keep at a distance but Tsoi has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tsoi lands an uppercut.
Nogueira tries a knee to the head but Tsoi blocks it.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Tsoi takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Tsoi scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Tsoi pulls guard successfully.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nogueira drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tsoi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tsoi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tsoi!
Tsoi remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tsoi tries to advance to mount but can't.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Tsoi is looking to take a break and control but Nogueira is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tsoi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nogueira haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Nogueira stops Tsoi from passing to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nogueira gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Tsoi wants to control but Nogueira is keeping him busy.
Tsoi blocks the strikes from Nogueira.
Tsoi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Nogueira has a hand on Tsoi's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Tsoi takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Tsoi controlling the position easily from mount.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tsoi works his way to his opponent's back.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nogueira rolls, trying to escape but Tsoi keeps control of the position.
Well, with Tsoi on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Nogueira is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Tsoi is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Nogueira is trying to defend against the choke here but Tsoi has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Tsoi Tightens the hold and Nogueira taps out furiously! Tsoi displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Viktor Tsoi!
An out of breath Viktor Tsoi thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
