The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Ron Honeybunn and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machete with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Machete swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pratt drops down looking for a counter takedown but Machete sprawls and moves away.
Machete displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pratt.
Pratt takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Pratt tries for a takedown but Machete circles away easily
and Machete counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like De Angelo Pratt has been cut.
Machete scores with the left hand. Pratt knows he should have avoided that one.
Machete drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Pratt's head, knocking him out cold! Machete is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Don Machete!
After winning the bout, Don Machete thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
