Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esquiva Falcao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Esquiva Falcao will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Falcao lands with a nice body punch.
Davidson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Falcao lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Davidson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Falcao scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Falcao connects with the punch.
Falcao moves away from the strike by Davidson.
Falcao fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Falcao gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Davidson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Falcao finds it's way round the side to connect with Davidson's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Davidson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Falcao.
Davidson misses with a looping right.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Falcao! But no joy.
Esquiva Falcao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davidson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Davidson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Falcao is keeping the position for now.
Falcao is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Davidson is aware though and is defending well.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Davidson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Davidson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Falcao has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Davidson is looking to defend but Falcao has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Davidson! Falcao pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Davidson taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Esquiva Falcao!
