Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Outfuh Blood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 6 - 2, fighting out of New York, Vlad Kersikov! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kersikov lands a nice hook to Blood's body. Blood takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Blood throws a low kick but Kersikov moves out of range easily. A little jabbing left from Kersikov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Outfuh Blood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blood looks to score with a jab to the body but Kersikov is just out of range. Kersikov unleashes a big counter combination but Blood bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Kersikov throws a quick inside leg kick. Blood has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Humboldt Park Elite Gym in the buildup to the fight. Kersikov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Blood pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Blood misses with a body shot.
Kersikov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Blood. Blood circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Outfuh Blood has been cut. Kersikov throws a body kick that misses. Kersikov throws a predictable looking body shot
and Blood counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A jab from Blood misses. Blood comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Blood lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. This has been an exciting period of action! Kersikov on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kersikov feints and then cracks Blood's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Blood down. Blood dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kersikov looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Blood lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. A clash of legs there as Blood blocks the low kick.

Blood misses with a body punch
and Kersikov counters with a low kick, right behind Blood 's knee. Kersikov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Blood can pounce on him.
Blood stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kersikov. A chopping leg kick lands by Blood. Blood takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Kersikov just misses with a punch to the body.

Blood looks to land a body kick but Kersikov moved away. Kersikov scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Blood steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kersikov. Blood moves into range and clinches up with Kersikov. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kersikov swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Blood blocks a body shot from Kersikov. Blood misses with a hook to the ribs.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Blood. Blood's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Blood bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kersikov's head. Blood keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Blood avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kersikov lands a nice leg kick that just misses Blood's sensitive parts. Kersikov misses with a leg kick. Blood slips a straight right by Kersikov. Blood is looking to wear down Kersikov with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Kersikov connects with a right hand. Blood shakes it off. Blood throws a half hearted mid kick. Blood ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kersikov moves away. Kersikov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Blood takes a shot right to the bread basket. Kersikov tries to land a leg kick but Blood saw it coming and moves away.
A jab from Kersikov finds it's way through Blood's defenses. Blood scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Kersikov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Blood has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Kersikov scores with a kick to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kersikov closes the distance and pushes Blood back into the cage. A quick uppercut on the inside from Kersikov. Blood lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kersikov backwards. Blood working hard to break the clinch. Kersikov with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blood prevents a body shot from Kersikov. Blood misses with some punches.

Kersikov lands with a short head shot on the inside. Kersikov scores with a shoulder strike. Kersikov misses with a hook from the clinch. Blood is working Kersikov over against the cage. Blood is stalling here.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. A shot in the inside from Kersikov. Blood looking to stall.
Kersikov unloads a knee to the mid-section. Blood lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Vlad Kersikov will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Outfuh Blood's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Good work by Blood as he checks the leg kick. Kersikov throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Kersikov is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Blood throwing a counter right hand but Kersikov manages to avoid it. Kersikov lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Blood throws a low kick, looking for Kersikov's leg but Kersikov calmly moves out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kersikov! But no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kersikov throws a looping overhand right but Blood ducks down to avoid it. Blood ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kersikov scores with the left hand. Blood knows he should have avoided that one. Kersikov throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Blood quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Blood throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Kersikov tried to score with a low kick but Blood checks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kersikov throws a leg kick but Blood sees it coming and moves out of range. Kersikov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Kersikov misses with a low kick as Blood jumps back. Kersikov lands a nice leg kick that just misses Blood's sensitive parts. Blood moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Blood with a body punch. A glancing blow. A jab from Blood misses. Kersikov lands with an uppercut that bounces Blood off the cage and back into range. Blood throws a jab when Kersikov was well out of range. Kersikov throws a monster overhand right that drops Blood! Kersikov follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
