Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wyatt Foreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shoto Murasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murasaki has chosen PRIDE FC Theme as his entrance music. Shoto Murasaki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wyatt Foreman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shoto Murasaki!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murasaki throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Foreman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Murasaki is in Foreman's guard.

Murasaki gets to his feet - Foreman follows without any prompting.
Murasaki throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Foreman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murasaki fails to land with a series of punches.
Foreman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Murasaki as he avoids it easily.
Murasaki changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Foreman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murasaki tries to avoid it but Foreman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murasaki to the ground. Murasaki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wyatt Foreman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Foreman gets caught napping as Murasaki dives in and scores a takedown. Foreman manages to retain guard.
Foreman looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Murasaki wants to stand but Foreman has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Murasaki wants to control from the top but Foreman keeps moving.
Foreman wants to hit a switch here but Murasaki passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Foreman there!

Murasaki wants to get back to his feet but Foreman is holding on tight.

Murasaki trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Foreman can't escape the position.
Murasaki looking to control but Foreman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Murasaki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Foreman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Foreman can't escape the position.
Murasaki tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Murasaki throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Foreman because Murasaki loaded up on that one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shoto Murasaki dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Murasaki explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Murasaki drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Foreman sneaks back into half guard.
Murasaki has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Foreman gets back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murasaki is looking to stand up but Foreman won't let him.
Foreman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Murasaki wants to pass the guard but Foreman is keeping the position.

Murasaki gets to his feet. Foreman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
No luck for Foreman with that takedown attempt.

Murasaki dives in and scores a takedown into Foreman's guard.
Foreman tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Murasaki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Murasaki throws a big right hand that misses.
Foreman keeping moving, preventing Murasaki from controlling successfully.
Foreman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Murasaki's guard.

Murasaki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Foreman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Murasaki is breathing heavily.

Foreman gets to his feet - Murasaki follows without any prompting.

Murasaki throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Foreman drops down looking for a counter takedown but Murasaki sprawls and moves away.
Murasaki tries to clinch up.
Foreman thinks about countering with a head kick.
Murasaki connects with a body shot.
Foreman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Murasaki gets the takedown into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Foreman pushes Murasaki away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Murasaki gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Murasaki wants to stand but Foreman has his arm trapped.
Murasaki wants to control for a moment but Foreman uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Murasaki throws a strike but Foreman avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Murasaki wants to stand but Foreman has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shoto Murasaki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Foreman successfully pulls guard.
Murasaki wants to control from the top but Foreman keeps moving.
Murasaki throws a strike but Foreman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Murasaki wants to stand but Foreman is controlling the position.

Murasaki wants to hit a switch here but Foreman passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Murasaki there!

Murasaki wants to control but Foreman is having none of it.
Foreman lands a big elbow.

Foreman stands up from mount. Strange move.

Murasaki feints and as Foreman raises his hands in defense, Murasaki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Murasaki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Murasaki controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Shoto Murasaki has got the better of the ground game so far.
Foreman wants to get back to his feet but Murasaki is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Murasaki passes Foreman's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Foreman pushes Murasaki off looking to stand but Murasaki dives back in and keeps control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Foreman is looking to improve his position.
Murasaki is trying to control. Foreman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Murasaki closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Foreman to the mat! Foreman manages to get full guard.
Foreman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Foreman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Murasaki wants to control from the top but Foreman keeps moving.

Foreman looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Murasaki looking to pass the guard.
Foreman throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Wyatt Foreman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Shoto Murasaki is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Murasaki scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wyatt Foreman.
I think Murasaki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
