Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Robbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Biers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riley Biers is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Robbins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Riley Biers!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biers has his takedown stuffed

and Robbins moves into the clinch.

Biers successfully pulls guard.
Robbins is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Robbins wants to pass the guard but Biers is keeping the position.
Biers throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Biers keeping full guard, as Robbins tries to pass.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Biers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Robbins drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Biers dives on top into guard.

Robbins on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Robbins tries to get out of the position.

Robbins wants to get back to his feet but Biers is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Robbins has control of Biers's left arm, preventing Biers from doing any damage.

Robbins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Robbins wants to stand but Biers is controlling his posture from full guard.
Robbins won't allow Biers to get back to his feet.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Robbins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Robbins closes the distance and pushes Biers back into the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Biers is trying to break free.

Robbins has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Biers uses from the top position.

Robbins wants to sweep but no luck.

Robbins has his foot on Biers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Biers works his way back into a safe position though.
Biers stops Robbins from standing up.

Robbins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Biers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Robbins wants to stand but Biers is controlling the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Robbins is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Biers is aware though and is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Biers plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Biers tries to keep at a distance but Robbins has taken the fight into the clinch.

Biers wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Biers drops down looking for an ankle pick but Robbins pulls his leg out and moves away.

Robbins jumps guard and drags Biers to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Biers throws a strike but Robbins rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Robbins controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Robbins postures up and lands a big shot to Biers's brow.

Biers is fighting to break Robbins's control of his arms but Robbins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robbins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Biers trying to control the position from guard on top but Robbins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Robbins is pulling down on Biers's head to control his posture.
Robbins continues to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Robbins takes the fight into the clinch.
Come on Robbins - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Robbins has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Biers clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Robbins really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Biers.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Robbins seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Biers for as long as he can get away with.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Robbins decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Biers, up you get!

Robbins rushes Biers and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Robbins gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Robbins is controlling the pace.

Well, if Robbins is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Biers wants to get back to his feet.

Still in half guard, Robbins seems content to control.
Biers wants to control but Robbins is keeping busy.
Robbins wants to advance to full mount but Biers doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Biers wants to sweep here but Robbins controlling him for the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Robbins looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Robbins pushes Biers up against the cage in a clinch.
Biers is working for takedown but Robbins is calmly controlling the position for now.

Robbins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Robbins counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Robbins.
Riley Biers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dylan Robbins is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Biers takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Robbins stays in close to Biers's body and controls the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dylan Robbins showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Robbins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
