Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tully Ray Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tully Ray Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Moore!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders fails with the takedown.
Jon Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanders tries to clinch up but Moore circles away and keeps his distance.
Moore misses with a series of wild punches.
Sanders connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Moore momentarily.
Sanders feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Moore sprawling to the canvas! Moore rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sanders finish him?!


Moore is rocked!


It looks like Jon Moore has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanders is looking to clinch but Moore is avoiding it.
Sanders looks to land a combination but Moore avoids it well.
Moore misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sanders.

Sanders moves into the clinch.
Moore has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sanders avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Sanders lands a shot to the body.
Moore looks gassed!

Sanders breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sanders misses with a takedown attempt - Moore sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sanders wants to clinch up but Moore keeps it at a distance.
Sanders moves in looking to clinch but Moore pushes him off.

Moore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Moore takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Sanders rushes Moore and presses him up against the cage.
Moore jumps guard but Sanders stands there with Moore around his waist. Moore gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sanders tries to strike from the bottom.
Sanders is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sanders will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Sanders looking for a sweep. Not yet Sanders, not yet.
Sanders lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Moore!

Sanders is landing with some decent strikes but Moore is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Moore tries to reverse the position but Sanders maintains control.

Moore is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sanders can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Moore is looking to escape.

Moore wants to sweep here but Sanders controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moore is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sanders tries to free his leg and advance position but Moore is retaining full guard.

Moore is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Moore looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sanders is one step ahead there.
Sanders throwing strikes but missing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Moore controls Sanders momentarily but Sanders frees himself.
Moore lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sanders!
Moore blocks Sanders's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Moore wants to control but Sanders has made it back to half guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanders is looking to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moore working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tully Ray Sanders dominated that round.

That's time! Sanders's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Sanders gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Moore misses with a double jab

and Sanders decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Moore's guard.

Moore working for submissions but it's allowed Sanders to get to half guard.

Sanders stands up and beckons Moore to join him on the feet.
Sanders wants to clinch.
Sanders thows a body shot but no joy.
Moore is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sanders takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Moore gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Moore gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Moore is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Sanders has managed to free his arm - good work.
Moore looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sanders with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Moore is looking to advance position but Sanders won't allow it.

Moore postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Sanders to stand up.
Sanders stuffs the takedown attempt from Moore. Moore gets slowly back to his feet.
Moore throws a one two combo.
Moore takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tully Ray Sanders is winning the standup battle so far.
Moore tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sanders tries to clinch up but Moore circles away and keeps his distance.

A right-left combo lands from Moore.
Moore throws and low kick but Sanders moves out of range easily.
Moore lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sanders circles away quickly and effectively.
Moore throws a nice looking combination but Sanders bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Moore tries to bum rush Sanders with a series of wild strikes but Sanders uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A combination from Sanders does no damage.
Jon Moore is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Moore staying out of range there.
Moore moves in looking to clinch but Sanders pushes him off.
Sanders showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Moore.
Moore tries to score with a low kick but Sanders moves his leg out of the way.
Moore falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sanders counters with a left and a right that stings Moore.

Moore throws a nice looking combination but Sanders bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sanders throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Moore misses with the combination.
Sanders slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Moore throws a combination that misses
and Sanders counters with a stiff right hand.
Moore misses with a wild combination.
Moore tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sanders paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Moore closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Moore closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Moore lands in his opponent's guard.
Sanders wants to get back to his feet but Moore is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Moore won't allow Sanders to sweep him here.

Moore is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Moore is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sanders is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Sanders pushes Moore off and gets back to his feet.
Moore avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Moore feints and as Sanders raises his hands in defense, Moore changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close second round but Jon Moore will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Moore closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sanders to the mat! Sanders manages to get full guard.
Moore prevents Sanders from getting back to his feet.
Sanders controls Moore momentarily but Moore frees himself.
Moore postures up and lands a big shot to Sanders's brow.
Sanders is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Moore stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Sanders clinches up against the cage.
Sanders keeps control of Moore as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Moore tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sanders smiles and moves away.
Sanders swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Moore misses with a wild combination.

Moore misses with an uppercut. Sanders saw that one coming.
Sanders slips a jab and a cross from Moore.
Moore comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Moore has a takedown stuffed.
Moore throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sanders changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moore tries to avoid it but Sanders manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moore to the ground. Moore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Moore moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Sanders throws a right hand that Moore ducks under and follows up with a left that Moore also avoids with ease.
Moore misses with a series of wild punches.
Sanders clinches but Moore breaks the clinch

and Moore decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sanders's guard.
Moore tries to free his leg and advance position but Sanders is retaining full guard.
Moore looking to sit in guard and control but Sanders gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Moore looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Moore pushes Sanders off and gets back to his feet.
Sanders moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Moore misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Moore has taken the fight to the clinch.
Moore has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sanders avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Tully Ray Sanders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Moore.

Sanders pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Moore will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Moore drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sanders pulls his leg out and moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sanders looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Moore throws a right hand that Sanders ducks under and follows up with a left that Sanders also avoids with ease.

Moore fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sanders, pushing him back against the cage.

Sanders manages to break the clinch.
Moore throws a hook but Sanders blocks it.
Sanders throws the left hand but Moore avoids the punch easily.
Moore finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Moore misses with the combination.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jon Moore comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Moore has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
