The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Creed. Saejima does a little dance to reset his feet.
Saejima doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Creed scores with a decent looking hook.
Saejima lands a glancing blow to the side of Creed's head.

It looks like Mike Creed has been cut.
Creed could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Creed looks to land a right hand but Saejima moved out of range.
Creed misses with a straight right.
Saejima looks for the body kick but Creed saw that one coming.

Creed clinches up against the cage.
Saejima wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Creed lands with a short punch from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee is keeping an eye on Creed - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Creed lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Saejima backwards.
Creed misses with a punch on the inside.
Creed swings wildly with an uppercut but Saejima uses good head movement to avoid it.

Creed's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Saejima is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
The referee calls for Creed to work.
Creed tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Creed for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Mike Creed.
Creed misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Saejima.
Creed throws a hook to the side of Saejima's head but Saejima sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Saejima lands with a big right hook that stumbles Creed - he's out on his feet here! Saejima follows up with another monster hook that separates Creed from consciousness! Creed falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Saejima stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
