The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lukowski throws a right and a left that both miss.
Melcher shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Melcher was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lukowski cracks Melcher's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Melcher slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Lukowski can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Serano Lukowski!
In defeat, Jon Melcher stepped up to the mic, saying 'We tried. We failed. I guess it's back to the ol' drawing board!'.
