Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Thatch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Angstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paul Thatch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harry Angstrom! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thatch misses with a body shot.
Angstrom follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Angstrom on the wrong end of a nice hook. Donk. Thatch catches Angstrom right on the button with a cross. Thatch fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Thatch scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Angstrom doesn't seem bothered though. Angstrom throws an off balance right hand
and Thatch counters with a straight right hand. Nice shot by Thatch. Angstrom keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Angstrom misses with a body shot
letting Thatch counter with a right hand. Angstrom doesn't succeed with the takedown and Thatch counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thatch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Thatch thuds a left hand into Angstrom's body. Angstrom swings and misses with a shot to the body and Thatch counters with a nice body shot. Angstrom needs to keep his hands up - Thatch had a free shot at his head there. Angstrom looks winded! Angstrom misses with a body shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Thatch. That snapped Angstrom's head back.
Paul Thatch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Thatch connects with a nice looking jab.
Angstrom gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Thatch counters with a straight right hand. Thatch is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Angstrom takes a body punch but keeps moving. Angstrom takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thatch connects with a good right hand that stumbles Angstrom. Angstrom circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Angstrom on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Angstrom takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Angstrom is rocked! Thatch scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Angstrom doesn't seem bothered though. Nice uppercut there from Thatch. Thatch changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thatch fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Thatch lands a glancing blow to the side of Angstrom's head. Thatch lands with a good body shot. Thatch fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Thatch connects with a nice looking jab.
Jab by Thatch. Angstrom takes one on the button. Angstrom is still on wobbly legs! Can Thatch finish him? Thatch lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Angstrom at a distance.
Angstrom seems to have recovered his senses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A jab from Thatch does it's job there. and Thatch counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Angstrom! He's just covering up as Thatch starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Thatch! An out of breath Paul Thatch thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
